Adventures in France!

Date: 22nd Mar 2017 @ 4:42pm

Well what a great day we have had. The journey was really good, everyone settled down quickly and went to sleep for the whole way. It flew by. We caught an earlier ferry than planned and saw the sunrise reflected on the White Cliffs of Dover - wow!

Almost everyone tucked into a £6 cooked breakfast whilst crossing the channel and before we knew it, we were quickly approaching the coast of France.

Boulogne was lovely, we went to the market and saw some very interesting things to eat - we bought some to try after supper tonight. Also, we are all speaking French everywhere!! And the French people are speaking to us too!

We saw lots of interesting things on the town trail including a Chateau with a moat - we walked the walls - and saw the cathedral and spotted lots of interesting shops.

Our Chateau L' Ebblingham is very nice - we've settled in well , had a play and now we are doing our work books waiting for our supper. We have a great group of pupils - their behaviour has been super and we are having a great time!

We are now eagerly waiting for crepe making followed by a good nights sleep!
