Seafood tasting

Date: 5th May 2015 @ 3:11pm

Today we had a bit of fun trying out some different seafood.

We sampled delights like prawns, salmon, calamari, seafood sticks and even some fish fingers!

Not all the foods were as well liked as others but the class were great at having a little try of everything!

There were some lovely comments from the children

"its really salty" Eva L about the calamari

"it tastes pink" Beth on the seafood sticks

and "yummy" Eva M on the salmon.

Prawns and seafood sticks were the least favourite whilst salmon and calamari were a great hit!

We have even had a request for lobster next time from Oliver!

Take a look at some of the pictures

We have also had our cooking session and made fish pie and fish cakes. After tasting it was declared that the fish cakes were the favourite and the children want to make them again!
