Tattenhall Residential

Date: 19th Apr 2015 @ 8:37pm

Keep up to date with all of our exciting work and activities during our residential right here!

We have arrived safely and are just having a quick drink and biscuit before having a look around the centre. After lunch we will be heading out to do some orienteering and team building/problem solving!

Time for lunch to build up our energy levels for this afternoon...I think an outside lunch is the call of the day seeing as the sun is doing a wonderful job

Team building games

Congratulations to Emily and India...nose jousting champions!

Time to do some orienteering! The teams are all set...let the challenge begin!

Great first day so far, we have played some super team games, worked hard to solve problems and have had a really good explore of the whole grounds whilst orienteering! Getting ready for our tea now, on the the menu tonight is fish and chips or shepherds pie...we've really earned our meal tonight!

Lovely meal tonight followed by a good couple of hours out on the field playing football, rounders, completing our own challenges on the play equipment and exploring every inch of the field! Everyone is now settled into their dorms and are going to get plenty of sleep ready for the all of the challenges and activities on offer tomorrow! Goodnight everyone! Mr. O

Thursday 9:15

Up and ready for our day at 6am! Breakfast was delicious, cereal, bacon, beans, toast and jam! Just getting ready for a full day of tree climbing, archery, rope course, zip wire and rock climbing! Weather is superb again, sun cream applied...let's go!

Lunch completed! Lovely sandwiches and homemade flapjack! Really good first sessions with lots completing the full tree climb, zip wire run and low level course. Well done to Jess L who did really really well with the archery...watch out Robin Hood!

All activities completed and well done to everyone who challenged themselves...especially on the tree climb! Our archery champion is...India! Special mention to Harry as well who was only mm behind!

All getting ready for our tea tonight...chicken curry or pork meatballs and pasta with tomato sauce...both sound and smell great!

Looking forward to toasting some marshmallows tonight around the bonfire.

Back inside after another lovely evening out on the field. Toasting marshmallows was great and very yummy! Just getting ready for part 2 of 'The Great Big Class 3 Quiz'

We have had a super day again with some of the team really challenging themselves and reaching new heights (mostly up the tree!) Some quite tired looking faces tonight so hopefully we will all be rebuilding our energy with plenty of sleep!!

So after a 5:50am wake up (!!) we are all in Winsford and ready to go rafting on Winsford Flash. Here's hoping they all hold together and nobody decides to go for an extra swim! Quick drink now before heading out...cue the Hawaii 5-0 musical soundtrack!

The rafts have been launched...here we go!

The race is on! Team B taking an early lead!

All safely back on dry land! We have been rafting, canoeing and kayaking. Lunch now and then we are heading back to school. A brilliant effort by all this week! Well done team!
