Welcome to our PE and Sport page. Here you will be able to find out about all of the different sporting events and competitions that we have run and taken part in over the course of the year and join us in our celebration of great teamwork, achievement and pride in what we do.
Wednesday 10th July
County finals!! Well done to our yr 3/4 and 5/6 Tri Golf teams who came 6th overall in the county finals. An even bigger well done to our inclusion team who came 4th in Tennis and 2nd in Golf!!
Monday 1st July
Yr5/6 Cricket: Well done to our cricket team who played some great games up at the high school tonight and finished in 2nd place!
Wednesday 26th June - Road to Tokyo
well done to all of our orienteering teams in years 3, 4 and 5/6 who partitcipated at the event at the Orford Hub today. congratualtions to our Yr3/4 team who made it to the semi finals in football, our Yr5/6 tennis teams who came away with bronze and silver medals and to our lacrosse team who made it to the final!
Monday 24th June
Yr3/4 cricket: Well done to our team tonight who came 2nd overall. Great work by Alfie with the bat and Sienna with her bowling.
Monday 4th February:
Yr5/6 Hockey: Some great games tonight and great play from our team. We finished 3rd overall with some super teamwork and strong tackling.
Monday 28th January
Small Schools Football County Finals: A superb effort from our team today making the semi finals of the tournament. Special mention to James in goal and to Owen for a couple of really well taken goals.
Monday 21st January
Yr5/6 Handball: A night of competitive games and some fabulous results for our team. Great teamwork throughout the night saw us end up finishing 3rd overall, well done!
Thursday 17th January
Small School Indoor Athletics
Well done to all of our teams who competed really well in all of the events. We had some really close races and finished a very promising 3rd.
Monday 14th January
Yr5/6 Volleyball: A super night of Volleyball! Well done to Teddy, James, Imogen, Alfie W, Sophie and Sade who went all night undefeated!
Monday 26th November - KS1 Multiskills @ Lymm High School
Tonight our multiskills team attended the festival at the high school and took part in several different team games. They all worked really well as a team and encouraged each other to do the best they could.
Monday 19th November - KS2 Basketball @ Lymm High School
WOW! What a night for Little Bollington! Our team tonight were simply superb in all areas and went the whole night unbeaten winning 6 out of 7 games and drawing the other meaning that we ended the night as champions! huge congratualtions to Maximus, James, Alfie C, Owen, Sade, Lucas and Teddy.
Monday 12th November - Yr3/4 Indoor Athletics @ Lymm High School
Tonight our athletics team took part in the cluster indoor event. We competed really well and were a strong team encouraging each other. We had some great individual performances, especially Aimee who won the individual target throwing competition.
Tuesday 16th October - Warrington Wolves Rugby Festival @ Lymm Rugby Club
As part of our training this term with the Wolves we took part in the annual festival today. We played some amazing rugby across the whole day and went through our group unbeaten finishing top. Special mention to Lucas who was a try scoring machine crossing over the line 9 times!
Tuesday 16th October - Warrington Small Schools' Football Tournament
Today our football team went and played in the small school football tournament and were brilliant! They played very well and remained unbeaten through the whole tournament meeaning that we have qualified for the county finals to be held in January! Very well done to Daniel, Sam, Teddy, Owen, James, Oliver, Maximus, Sade and Sophie.
Monday 15th October - Netball Tournament @ Lymm High School
Another great showing tonight from our team who went through the whole tournament unbeaten finishing in 3rd place overall. Some great teamwork and communication throughout the games and some great shooting from Teddy. Well done to Teddy, James, Owen, Sade, Sophie, Imogen and Honey-Leigh.
Monday 8th October - Tag Rugby @ Lymm High School.
Well done to our rugby team of Sam, Owen, Teddy, James, Imogen, Maximus, Lucas, Alfie C and Sade who played some great rugby and represented our school superbly. We had a couple of mixed results through the night but never gave up trying right until the end.
Monday 1st October - Girls' Football @ Lymm High School
Tonight we took our girls' football team to take part in the cluster football competition. We played really well as a team and had a mixture of results, winning some games and having a couple of very narrow defeats. Special mention to Sade who scored the goal of the night with a full length dribble and great shot into the far corner of the net!
Monday 24th September - KS2 Football @ Lymm High School
Tonight we began our year for our sporting fixtures with the KS2 football. We started the year really well with some great team performances and good battling right to the end of every match. Well done to Alfie C, Sam, Teddy, Oliver, Alfie W, James, Daniel, Sophie, Imogen and Sade. Special mention to Owen for a couple of great goals and to Lucas for some fantastic saves in goal.
